A bilateral cultural initiative in partnership with Nedland Kultur from Norway.
The bilateral initiative contributes to supporting contemporary art and emerging artists, raising awareness of cultural diversity and strengthening cooperation and cultural exchange between Romania and Norway.
The launch conference of the Talent 35 project took place on Thursday, November 7, online. Emerging artists, cultural institutions, stakeholders and other groups targeted by the project thus had the opportunity to find out the proposed objectives and planned activities, as well as the way to achieve them.
The activities of the project take place between November 2024 and February 2025, as follows:
“Talent 35 – Support and promotion of emerging artists and contemporary art” is a bilateral initiative implemented by the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Culture, as Operator of the RO-CULTURE Program, in partnership with Art and Culture from Norway , as a Program partner, and financed with the support of the EEA and Norwegian Grants 2014 – 2021 through the Bilateral National Fund, managed by the National Contact Point within the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.
The total value of the bilateral initiative is 618,840.41 lei (124,355.03 EUR).

Despre Granturile SEE
Granturile SEE reprezintă contribuția Islandei, Principatului Liechtenstein și Regatului Norvegiei la reducerea disparităților economice și sociale în Spațiul Economic European și la consolidarea relațiilor bilaterale cu cele 15 state beneficiare din estul și sudul Europei și statele baltice. Aceste mecanisme de finanțare sunt stabilite în baza Acordului privind Spațiul Economic European, ce reunește statele membre UE și Islanda, Liechtenstein și Norvegia ca parteneri egali pe piața internă.
În total, cele trei state au contribuit cu €3,3 miliarde între 1994 și 2014 și €1,55 miliarde pentru perioada de finanțare 2014-2021.

About EEA Grants
The EEA grants represent the contribution of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway to the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area and to the strengthening of bilateral relations with the 15 beneficiary states in Eastern and Southern Europe and the Baltic States. These financing mechanisms are established on the basis of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which brings together the EU member states and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as equal partners in the internal market.
In total, the three states contributed €3.3 billion between 1994 and 2014 and €1.55 billion for the 2014-2021 funding period.

About the EEA and Norway Grants
The EEA and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. There are two general objectives: reducing economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthening bilateral relations between the donor countries and 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic States. The three donor countries cooperate closely with the EU through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Between 1994 and 2014, donors provided EUR 3.3 billion through consecutive grant schemes. For the period 2014-2021, the EEA and Norway Grants amount to EUR 2.8 billion.
About the RO-CULTURA Programme
The RO-CULTURA Programme is implemented by the Ministry of Culture through the Project Management Unit and has as its general objective the strengthening of economic and social development through cultural cooperation, cultural entrepreneurship and cultural heritage management.
The Program’s budget is approximately 34 million euros.
